Kitzerow’s Books
Books by Kimberly Kitzerow
The story behind the work and the books that document the frameworks that followed.
Discovering Autism and the Comorbidities Along the BH4 Pathway
This memoir follows Kimberly Kitzerow’s experience of her daughter’s autism diagnosis, combing through the literature to create a plan to help her, and implementing that plan in real life.
It also follows the collapse of her marriage, her ex-husband leaving, the desperation that drove her to figure out how to help her daughter so she could still provide for her family, and the public building and release of the Autism and the Comorbidities Theory, including what it was like to share it and the responses that followed.
What you’ll gain: a clear understanding of how this work developed in real conditions, and what it took to move from uncertainty to a functional approach.

NeuroToggle® Foundations
Breaks down the biology of learning by translating neuroplasticity, memory formation, and brain adaptation into practical educational strategies.
It connects mechanisms like synaptogenesis, LTP and LTD, emotional regulation, movement, feedback, and cognitive flexibility to how skills are actually built, showing why behavior-only approaches fall short when the underlying circuitry is not being developed.
What you’ll gain: a working understanding of how learning actually happens in the brain, why building neural circuitry changes outcomes, and why this is relevant for neurodivergent learners.

The NeuroToggle® Framework
Formalizes learning as encoded neural circuitry, mapping how information is built, stored, retrieved, and refined in the brain through neuroplastic processes.
It organizes learning into four core processes, building, strengthening, timing, and expanding connections, and aligns them with memory stages like encoding, consolidation, retrieval, and reconsolidation to create a structured, neuroscience-based instructional framework.
What you’ll gain: a structured way to apply neuroscience to instruction, so skills can be built, retained, and performed more reliably.
